Peer Power Summit

This year's Summit is intended for people with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) who are 18 years of age or older. The focus for this year is the history of the Disability Civil Rights Movement, Supported Decision-Making Agreements, Friendship and Dating Safety, and full social inclusion in our Communities. As well as other important subject matters. We encourage individuals from all regions of Alaska to join the Summit and learn better skills for advocacy.

For age and disabilities qualified attendees who live outside of the Anchorage area please contact Ric Nelson for funding for airfare, per diem and hotel accommodations.

All attendees who are participating in the Summit are expected to be present during the main conference hours of:

Saturday & Sunday the 29th & 30th of September.   

9am to Noon and 1:15PM until 4:30PM.

There is a Complimentary, no-fee optional dinner social event provided for attendees and their PCAs from 6:00PM to 9:00PM on Saturday September 29th at Dave and Buster's located at Dimond Center Mall right next to the hotel. This is an event opportunity for attendees to meet each other, make connections and form relationships to network together after the summit ends.
